An Indian citizen, returning from the United States Wednesday, is suspected of being infected with swine influenza, and was placed in quarantine, reported Thursday the local newspaper, Times of India.
The Indian, who arrived in Hyderabad (center) from the U.S. state of Texas, which was reported the first case of swine flu outside of Mexico, presented symptoms of the epidemic in a medical home, according the same source.
The Indian government has organized task forces doctors to switch to scan passengers from Mexico, the United States and other endemic countries during the last ten days.
