You are invited to view The Annual Moon Festival Celebration for children photos organised by The Indian Chinese Association for Culture, Welfare and Development. This was held on the 26th and 27th of September, 2009 at Sacred Heart Chinese School on Weston Street popularly known as Bandook Galli.

Great job!
These days in old Chinatown, Kolkata area – I understand that there aren’t that many Indian Chinese kids around. So, it is a pleasant surprise to see so many of them in pictures here.
It does not matter if they claim themselves to be Indians or whatever, the most important thing is for them to know their roots and origin.
Looks like the two days spent on celebrating the mid-autumn festival were a great success. I applaud all members of the Indian Chinese Association for Culture, Welfare and Development and hope that there will be more series of similar events that bring together the small Indian Chinese community of Kolkata.
