The only style I have tried is the one found in Hakka restaurants (most of the restaurants that advertise to serve indian-chinese food are Hakka, I believe). Since the consensus is that the above is not Chili Chicken at all, could someone post a good recipe, or link to one? BTW, I have tried many recipes from the web and they do not come even close to the taste of Hakka Chili chicken, I even took a Hakka Cuisine one day class at a college and the chili chicken they taught us how to make was just another run of the mill chicken stir fry. Many Indians from New York and Toronto like to patronize Indian Chinese restaurants there for the dish.
