Thanks to Pastor Mark Buntain and his wife great work on Kolkata poor, it was really a gift from God that sent the couple to open schools and hospitals to serve the poorest of the poor.

Thanks Mark, for sharing the link, it was inspiring and the wonderful missionary (Buntain) doing great contribution to kolkata, giving hope to the hopeless. I went through this page before, but after seeing the interview from your link Mark. The vision became clearer. The kolkatan should be greatful to the Buntain family for contributing so much to the people of Kolkata, making it a better place to live.

St.Mother Teresa has dedicated her life to make a difference, which she had.

Here are two more videos on above subject.

Amitabh Singh was apparently my junior in AG. I do not know him. When he joined the school in Royd Street, I had already left India to a foreign shore.

Salute to Amitabh. He had done a great job, working along with the Buntain family, in serving the needy and the poorest of the poor of Kolkata; he also sacrificed his career in the commercial sector of a handsome remuneration package to serve the Lord for the destitutes.

    Enjoy.

AG was blessed with the great stewardship under the Buntains and Shaws. Ronald Shaw contributed a lot to the success of AG charity network. A great principal
and well liked by most of his students.

Thanks mark, for sharing the link, I would like to share my personal view and experience can be contradictory, Im a christian.
Quite a long time back, there were some miracle or spiritual mass healing organised by school or church, heard a lot of these stories, one day i have decided to attend one in St. Mary church rippon st. After the prayer everyone was going to the priest for blessing, I saw, the moment the priest touch the forehead of the person most fainted even my Ahyee, i decided to go and check, bearing in mind anything happens I will not faint, as I got the blessing my head became heavy started to spin, i didnt faint, was that a trick, hypnotism or miracle still not sure, i have not yet witness any thing convincing,
Mr.Amitab claim that when he was a kid he used to pray and his prayer become true even for small things, It can be true for him, but claims like these can make people loose faith, i dont think Buntain foundation need to promote them self on these claims, what they are doing is a miracle for the poor and the destitute. Giving hope to the hopeless.
The day when i witness a real miracle i will become a priest.

    Hi Stephen

I am not a Christian but think that I know quite some Bible teachings much more than many devout Christians. (Note: I am not comparing with you on Christian faith).

I believe that we should take things at face value. No need to have hard feelings or set up expectations of some suspicious outcomes. If you do not believe in what you see or hear; or what you often hear but did not prove to be true before your eyes, you need not worry because no body can force you to change your reasoning power. It does not matter if you are a Christian or not. Hence, you should not worry how the Buntain foundations sell out or promote on miracle claims. There are always two sides to every coin, so there is no right or wrong.

You seem to have attended a Catholic Church – St Mary’s in Ripon Street where you claimed a miracle was supposedly to have taken place. Miracles are claimed to happen in any Christian denominational environments including the Roman Catholics. However, remember that to become a Catholic priest, one has to take the vow/oath of celibacy. Think of it and it won’t be too long that you may really witness a miracle. (Do not take this serious, I’m just trying to pull your leg – ha, ha).

Having said above, you should log in to Youtube to watch for yourself the healing miracles of world renown faith healing preachers – Benny Hinn and Reinhard Bonnke (Reinhard is Ronald Shaw’s brother-in-law). Some say they are witchcrafts etc., while others say they are great healing ministries with a large number of followers worldwide.

So Stephen – you be the judge.

Marks i never take anything seriously even my most disastrous time. I even make fun of it.
I have really enjoyed my leg being pulled. Glad it was not real. I will definitely make effort to meet them if ever i get a chance.

  11. alex says:

My experience with god, I have always prayed to god, and asked him all the thing i wanted. Trust me, he never listen to my prayer, back comes the answer “If i do all your work, what wil you do” I guess the same answer the rest of us 99.999…% children gets. Amitabh must be 1 out of 0.00…1%, (the chosen 1).
I dont mean god is unjust, He has made this BEAUTIFUL earth for us given us life what more do we expect from him. Im thankful 2 my lord always.

  12. Mark says:

    to: alex

Looks like you are a Christian, whereas I am not.

The basic prayer that most people ask from God is to provide their needs and not wants.

There is a big difference between wants and needs. However, with that said, God will also not answer your needs.

    Cheers

  13. alex says:

Yes Mark u r right im a Roman Catholic , God dont even answered my need, Like I fell in Love with a Beautiful girl meet on college campus, I hav been trying 2 meet her 4 a long time, but i could never meet her, i stil dont no where 2 find her. wil i ever get 2 c her, im sure i need a miracle. Just 1 example, i have many other need (not girl), 4 which i hav never got my prayer answered n still I pray and thank him 4 d Beautiful things he created n given me a life to admire his creation.

  14. stephen says:

Lol alex, you seem to be a very romantic guy, well my advice is, open your eyes man there are thousand out there, come on live your life.

  15. alex says:

Stephen if u c her u will say if there s angel in heaven, they got 2 look like her. She s beautiful, when ever i think of her i 4get every things. I really dream a lot about her. Praying 4 a miracle.

  16. lee Sen says:

Hi Alex, my opinion she is not your need, She is your want, need is something you cant live without like food. All the best to you.
Im not christian and i dont follow any religion, I believe being practical is the best religion. I dont believe in miracle…… Only weak and incapable expect miracle.

  17. vivek says:

We indians are always grateful to god, and i personally believe that there is only one god, there are different pathway(religion) but destiny is one. All objective is same to love one another.

  18. vivek says:

Hi guys, Talk about miracle, check the link, it was a recent incident, make me believe more in miracles.

Hi ycl, ur posting “buffalo survive lion attack” is amazing, 1st I have seen that in the local news channel in taiwan, than it was all over youtube. It showed that animals also has caring nature, even better prof was the monkey example you have posted. I wonder why we human become selfish, from my point of view this the root cause of most of the problem in this world.
    Great video thanks!

  20. ycl1688 says:

    Richard,

Thanks for your compliment. In the forum section you will find ‘founding of a republic’ movie, I believe the taiwan authority promised not to censor its contents when shown in Taiwan.
